Camp Bestival Kicks Off Day One In Style

Camp Bestival well and truly introduced themselves to Shropshire in epic style yesterday as day one of the famous child friendly festival kicked off in the grounds of Weston Park.

Throughout the day kids and families from all over the UK were kept entertained with circus shows, trapeze workshops, science, construction and various other workshops, musicians, wild swimming, zip wires and a huge abundance of entertainment and activities including THE WORLDS BIGGEST BOUNCY CASTLE.

Well known kids favourite CBeebies stars MR MAKER & Rebecca took to the main park stage to entertain families during the day.

The evening showcased amazing performances on the main park stage from The Proclaimers, Heather Small, Scouting For Girls, Mae Muller along with top headline act for the evening Bewdley born Becky Hill who well and truly rocked Weston Park in style.

With so many amazing performers over such a huge choice of stages and venues Bestival never stands still.

Saturday brings the famous fancy dress judged by Sara Cox and another huge line up of events for the day and evening with Mr Tumble and Braniacs live headlining for the kids during the day and ending the evening with the incredible Sara Cox, Example and Fat Boy Slim playing out the park for the evening.
