This isn't the best camera in the world, it's not the best 1080p video record either and the images it prints are small and the colour is a little bit off.

You may also think that the above statement means that you may think of spending your money elsewhere, maybe. But what this little camera does have is fun, bags of it.

We gave this camera to two older children, both were thrilled with the fact they could snap, select and print pictures that also had sticky backs for added fun. The quality issues with video, photo and print meant absolutly nothing as they were so captivated by the experience itself.

The printing costs about 50p per image so it's not cheap, but this device is the sort of thing that inspired my and now they new generation too into photography and technology behind instant images.

The camera has a touch screen with easy to follow menus, auto focus for improved image taking, 1080p video function, SD card slot, Flash, Microphone, Tripod hole and you can purchase extras like a case etc to protect your purchase.

After you take a picture you can view it and have the option to print or even edit the image and add fun frames, stickers etc. The images the camera takes are of good quality but don't expect it to rub sholders with your digital slr. The video is ok but can be a little shakey, having the tripod hold on the underside means that if you wish to take better images or video then this might be a good upgrade option.

The printing side is so fun, no need to wait, easy to share and the sticky back means kids enjoy it even more. You can even hook this camera up to a smartphone App and use it to print from the phone. The images are printed suprisingly sharp depending on image quality with even small text being readable at what would seem small sizes.

This is such a fun piece of equipment that I think every family should try an instant camera at least once. Let your children capture and share the magic, you'll be surprised how fun it can be.
