Growing up in the 80's and 90's meant that American Wrestling was always part of everyday TV, things have got spread out across hundreds of channels and ways of receiving have multiplied. This has meant that Wrestling has become less main stream than it was and perhaps as a non-massive fan, it and the characters are a bit lost on me. I have tried some of the more serious versions of the genre in the past and found them to be slow, clunky and after a time just dull.
This games actually makes Wrestling fun again, the cartoon characters seem more larger than life and the moves, camera angles and special effects as the game plays make it great fun. Tie that in with loads of customisation options from game type, characters and arenas with multiplayer mash-ups too and I'm like "Why did this take so long". So if you’re a Wrestling fan or like me and my kids not that into it, it doesn’t really matter as this game is fun.
Some of those moves and the camera angles make you feel like you've pulled off some epic pain on your opponent.
Overall
Great game to pick up and have some fun with friends, family or go online and fight the masses. Tons of options and suitable for none Wrestling fans too.
